Hello, everyone pleasure meeting you it gives me immense pleasure to get connected with my readers while posting my blog with each passing day, I feel motivated to write something the first thing that comes into my mind is the topic that can attract my readers who can understand my emotions and feelings that I emote while penning down my blog. Today I have chosen to write on endless practice which is a selfless act and filled with positive outcomes i.e. GRATITUDE. It unconditionally shows to people that they are appreciated. It is an emotion that reflects positive psychology. The Era of challenges and change with a busy schedule of their work where every single person is supremely busy with their daily activity which might have given spare time to a person to go along. Despite this entire people might have not forgotten to show gratitude. So many people can benefit from this general practice of expressing thanks to our lives.  

Time is fleeting and it’s only these memories that we make in our life journey. Generating good memories from life might have impacted encouraging sites for every single person so make sure you make yours on the way as well.

What is Gratitude

Gratitude came from the Latin word Gratus “ pleasing thankful” is a feeling of appreciation felt by or positive response shown by the recipient of kindness, gifts, help, favors, or another type of generosity towards the giver.

Buddha said “Gratitude is a step towards embarking life

The feeling of being grateful or of demonstrating your thanks to somebody. It is pausing to notice and appreciate the things that we often take for granted to ignore of being grateful for having that so be grateful for all we have because happiness does not depend on what you have or who you are be thankful for today. After all, in one moment your entire life could change.

Importance of Gratitude

Life does not make any sense without gratitude, we have been taught to say thank you since childhood and we are also explained to value gratitude. Living a life of gratitude brings you a lot of positive changes and also helps you notice little wins. we people express gratitude by saying “thank you” to someone who has helped, motivated and gifted us. This is truly similar to appreciation which fills positive thoughts between both the person sender and the receiver. 

It lasts with positive feelings it is about the exchange of emotions when someone performs an act of gratitude for another person, in return the person may be motivated to do something gracious for the former person or continue the favor for a stranger.

Gratitude may be one of the most unnoticed tools we all have access to every day. Cultivating gratitude does not cost any money and it certainly does not take much time, but it has enormous benefits. His research confirms that gratitude effectively increases happiness and reduces depression.

Research has shown gratitude not only reduces stress, but it may also play a most important role in overcoming trauma. We all have the ability and opportunity to change the attitude towards life rather than complaining about the things we do not have, we should praise all we have. “Attitude of gratitude” is one of the simplest ways to improve your satisfaction with life.

Gratitude is considered being as an integral step on the path to a good life. The purpose of praying is not to ask God for anything but instead, to show gratitude towards God for giving us the best version of life for making us capable enough to create or carve our destiny in our way for giving us the same features which do not make any difference, whatever makes difference is the circumstances into which one may live.  

Gratitude is above all the religious and spiritual practices. It is that common tool that binds the whole universe. Our country, civilization, religion, culture, and language can be different but the way of expressing gratitude is the same. What unites us over anything.

Gratitude is a selfless act. It is done unconditionally to show to prepare that they are appreciated. It is a priceless gift at no cost. Tells people that it makes you very happy. I can say it makes people happy on both sides. It fills harmony and a positive feeling. For example – if someone is upset, sad, or feeling low and your words can encourage & excite others so that they can persuade them to do something good to think positive.

The practice of being grateful, not just for a day, but as an established habit has been linked with various physical and emotional benefits and also improves the overall quality of life.

Gratitude has lasting effects on the brain it also protects our body from the toxic emotions

  • Celebrate each moment: Enjoy every single moment you like and be grateful for the good things that happen to you. Take out some time at least 15-20 minutes for yourself to enjoy nature, enjoy your own company, and other things around you.
  •  Strengths our Positive emotions: It reduces feelings of jealousy, makes our memories happier, lets us get familiar with good feelings, and helps us bounce back from anxiety and stress.
  • Improved Optimism: Gratitude is strongly correlated with optimism which makes us happier, improves our overall health, and has been shown by research that it also increases life span.
  • Improves mental health: Gratitude contributes to positive mental health outcomes.  Various studies showed that regularly practicing gratitude can help ease symptoms of anxiety and depression and also noted by researchers that gratitude is linked to improved mood. It contributes to a sense of well-being when done regularly.
  • Deeper Relationship:  Gratitude plays a key role in forming relationships, as well as in strengthening existing ones. When it comes to relationship gratitude can help one feel happier and satisfied with each other because expressing gratitude towards one another increases relationship satisfaction and also improves happiness.
